Like so many of you, I am sure, you are having to adapt in many ways to the uncertainty of life and business in 2020.  I had the opportunity in April to move my business to Wildflower Kitchen south of Absarokee where my 2 sons and daughter in law have a fantastic restaurant.  Check it out!  Their website is mtwildflowerkitchen.com and they post their menu on Facebook regularly.  After doing all outdoor service this summer they have now moved their service inside for takeaway only.  Grab and Go and Take and Bake is their concept.  Come in and grab just a sandwich, salad or dessert or pick up a whole meal for the family and take it home and put it in the oven.  You could say I am biased but if you look at their reviews you will see they have fantastic food.   As a family we are all working to keep going through the winter with new concepts about how to stay open.  I must give kudos out to the State of Montana for helping me keep my business alive.  I am always grateful to live in Montana where  there is a camaraderie with other small businesses, artisans and  crafts people and that we can feel supported by our government.  When I was in Helena I felt I could always reach out for assistance.   And here in Absarokee, there is always a small town helping hand from a neighbor who can do it all.  Whew!
It was a big move with lots of help.  Not sure what lies around the corner but lets all hope for a prosperous and healthy new year!

New Blog Entry - July 2022
Of course much has transpired over the last year.  I am loving my new location at Wild Flower Kitchen.  I get fed very well plus a new grandaughter Orly is here daily to keep me company in my store.   I am hoping to finally return to Kyrgyzstan this fall via a stopover in London.  Now that traveling should be easyier, I hope to do more of that in the coming year.  I am excited about developing a new business with my friend Betty Apadeet and her family in Kenya.  We are trying to create a jewelry business to help support her family. She is sending me stunning earrings and bracelets and I'm hoping to take them on the road in the coming year.  I am seeking out venues, so if you know of fairs, shows and shops that would be interested please let me know.  Some photos to follow.  Happy summer!
