Felted Shyrdaks (Kyrgyz Rugs)

    Our Shyrdaks are the largest scale products we offer and often involve the most labor intensive production. They can take a whole team of craft workers days to make and finish each Shyrdak. The design and styles we produce stay authentic to the Kyrgyz traditional style, involving animal inspired shapes and patterns and deep warm tones of generally three to four neutral tones.

    We have new shipments and styles arriving regularly giving us a beautiful variety of options fitting for any home or interior space. They can be used as decorative hangings, practical floor rugs or even door mats. Our website offers some examples of our Shyrdaks, several of which are available for online purchase.
